Falkenberg Invites Tourism Staff to Hospitality Kick-off Event
As part of the three-year project “World-Class Hospitality”, Destination Falkenberg is organizing a major hospitality kick-off event this summer for staff working in the tourism industry. While hospitality, service, and knowledge are ingrained in those who have worked in the industry for a long time, many new employees need to be introduced before each high season.
“We want to give both new and experienced employees the best possible conditions to continue delivering excellent hospitality to our residents and visitors. That’s why we’re inviting them to a summer kick-off with a hospitality theme,” says Åsa Bengtsson, project manager at Destination Falkenberg.
The event will feature an impressive lecture, entertainment, invited guests, and stand-up comedy in Hwitan’s garden on June 24th from 4-6 PM. It is aimed at managers and employees working in the tourism industry in Falkenberg municipality and is free of charge.
“Here, employees will be motivated and equipped with the best hospitality tips for the upcoming high season, and also have the chance to network with other colleagues in the industry,” says Åsa Bengtsson.
New VIP Discount Booklet
All participants at the summer hospitality kick-off will receive a VIP discount booklet with exclusive discounts and offers from tourism industry actors.
“With this, we hope to encourage staff at different facilities to explore new businesses and thus get to know Falkenberg’s offerings. It’s so much easier to recommend a place you’ve been to yourself,” says Åsa Bengtsson.
