Chatarina Eriksson Steps Down as CEO of Visit Dalarna

Chatarina Eriksson, who joined Visit Dalarna as CEO in autumn 2022, will be leaving her role after the summer. Her tenure has been focused on creating the best conditions for the tourism industry in Dalarna to grow and develop sustainable business opportunities.

    A Journey of Transformation

“It has been a wonderful journey to work with the organization in creating the best conditions for businesses to develop in one of Dalarna’s core industries – tourism. The tourism sector is constantly evolving based on travel trends and a changing global environment. Visit Dalarna is an organization in constant motion and has undergone significant structural and operational changes in recent years.”

Eriksson further explained her decision, stating: “I entered this role with the ambition to take the company into a new phase to meet the future, and I have done that over these years. Under her leadership, the company has taken important steps forward and created conditions to continue building success. We wish her all the best in her future challenges and assignments.”

These words came from Karin Ringsby, Chairperson of the Board at Visit Dalarna.
