Halmstad Magazine Distributed to All Households: A Guide to Discovering Local Treasures
For the first time, the “Upplev Halmstad” (Experience Halmstad) magazine will be distributed to every household in the Halmstad municipality, offering residents and visitors an exciting glimpse into the region’s attractions and experiences.
A Comprehensive Local Guide
The spring and summer edition of the magazine is packed with recommendations, including:
- Highlights of Stora Berg
- The Gyllene Tider Experience exhibition
- An interview with Moa and Ville from the film “Sommartider”
- Halmstad’s future visions and events
- Children’s experiences
- Best beach locations
“Residents are our best ambassadors, and there’s so much fantastic experiences right here at home – if you only know about them. With this magazine, we can help everyone become a guide in their own municipality,” says Karolina Davidsson, CEO of Destination Halmstad.
Digital Bonus Content
The magazine will also be available on destinationhalmstad.se with additional bonus material, including an exclusive interview with a young girl band formed thanks to the “Sommartider” film.
“We created this magazine years ago to attract tourists to Halmstad. But the content is equally inspiring for those of us living in the municipality. People want to know what’s happening and get excursion tips. There are surely many places you didn’t know about that you can now start exploring. Halmstad is fantastic,” says Malin Backe, project manager at Destination Halmstad.
“It will also provide a glimpse into the future of how an exciting part of Halmstad will develop for tomorrow’s visitors and residents,” adds Lotta Edin, Communications Director of Halmstad Municipality.
Distribution Details
The magazine will be distributed between April 4-6, with approximately 50,000 copies. It will also be available at around 40 local destinations and municipal facilities.
