Halland’s Food Festival Returns: A Culinary Journey Through Local Flavors
On Saturday, March 29th, the Halmstad Theater will transform into a paradise for food lovers. For the third consecutive year, Halland’s Food Festival invites visitors to embark on a culinary exploration of the region’s finest gastronomic offerings.
An Incredible Culinary Experience
In just 741 steps, visitors can experience the best of Halland’s food and drink, meeting some of the region’s top culinary artists – all under one roof.
Star-Studded Culinary Lineup
The festival’s stage will feature inspiring conversations with Halland’s top chefs and food inspirations, including:
- Jacob Holmström from Restaurant Fyr
- My Feldt from Feldts på Skolberget
- Johanna Norström from Söderfamiljen
- Lisa Lemke from Prostens Pizza
Marketplace of Local Delicacies
Deep within the theater, visitors will discover a marketplace filled with authentic Hallandic food crafts. Expect an array of delights including:
- Charcuterie
- Artisan cheese
- Ice cream
- Fermented products
- Fresh bread
- Non-alcoholic beverages
Unique Beverage Offerings
Local drink producers will offer tastings of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including:
- Non-alcoholic sparkling wine (served at the Nobel Dinner)
- Local wines
- Award-winning local gin

Event Details
The Food Festival is open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM with free entry. Visitors can purchase tasting tickets to sample a wide range of Hallandic delicacies.
Musical Entertainment
The event will feature live music, including:
- Jazz trio “New Sound Trio” at opening (11:00-11:30)
- Nova Cantica musical performance at 5:45 PM
- Halmstad troubadour Anton Wernebäck performing throughout the day
Bonus Attraction
Teneal Solinas will be creating paper flowers on-site, offering workshops and demonstrating her art.
