Applications Open for Event Grants in Falkenberg
Destination Falkenberg has announced that local associations in sports, culture, entertainment, food, and nature can now apply for event grants until November 5th. This initiative is part of a new sponsorship strategy developed last year to strengthen the Falkenberg brand and attract more visitors outside the peak season.
Fredrik Janson, CEO of Destination Falkenberg, explains the reasoning behind the term “event grant”:
“We have chosen to call it an event grant because it makes it clearer what it’s about, creating events. However, it’s not a classic grant, but rather a commitment with counter-requirements for us.”
The application process has been simplified this year, with a new form-based system to make it easier for associations to apply correctly. Janson expresses hope for numerous applications for events in 2025.
