Applications Open for Event Funding in Falkenberg
Destination Falkenberg has announced that applications are now open for event funding, aimed at strengthening the Falkenberg brand and attracting visitors outside the peak season. Local associations in sports, culture, entertainment, food, and nature who wish to organize events can apply for this funding until November 5th.
Fredrik Janson, CEO of Destination Falkenberg, explains the initiative:
“We have chosen to call it event funding because it makes it clearer what it’s about – creating events. However, it’s not a classic grant, but rather a commitment with counter-requirements for us.”
This year, a new application process has been implemented through an online form to simplify the process for associations.
“We want to make it easy for the associations to do it right and hope for many applications for 2025,” says Fredrik Janson.
