Shaun the Sheep and Moomin to Visit Skövde for Children’s Days
On September 29th and November 9th, Skövde will host special Children’s Days featuring popular characters Shaun the Sheep and Moomin. These events will include meet-and-greet opportunities, fun activities, and contests related to the beloved characters.
“We in the City Association want to contribute to life and movement outside our businesses, and we hope to meet many new and old customers who take the opportunity to meet Shaun the Sheep and Moomin in town this autumn. We hope these events will create joy for both young and old visitors,” says Martin Ekström, chairman of Skövde City Association.
The autumn season will also feature additional events in the city center aimed at adult audiences.
“A vibrant city center doesn’t just happen; we all need to be involved in creating life and movement. Thanks to the City Association organizing two activities this fall, we can offer Skövde’s families with children more reasons to visit the city. We will continue the autumn with more events that are more targeted to an adult audience, such as an electric car day and restaurant week,” says Emma Edqvist, destination developer for city collaboration/Next Skövde.

The Shaun the Sheep and Moomin activities are funded by the City Association and project-managed by City Collaboration. The City Association is a non-profit organization consisting of members who primarily operate their businesses in Skövde’s city center.
