Star-Studded Program for Lidköping’s Summer Festival
From August 15-18, the Summer Festival in Lidköping will offer an action-packed program in the City Park! During these days, the City Park will be transformed into a vibrant festival area filled with fun children’s activities, fantastic musical performances, engaging singalongs, lively dance bands and much more. With something for all ages and interests, it will be a wonderful public festival where everyone is welcome to celebrate summer together with their loved ones.
“We are very pleased to present a program with well-known names that we believe will appeal to a wide audience. It will be a fantastic finale for the summer’s many events!” says Jennifer Lerman, cultural coordinator for Lidköping municipality.
Highlights of the Festival Program
Jonathan Johansson – August 17
Jonathan Johansson, known for his breakthrough album “En hand i himlen” in 2009, will bring his unique blend of pop, electronic music and R&B to the Dina stage. Expect an intimate yet grand concert experience.
Myra Granberg – August 17
Rising star Myra Granberg, with over 135 million streams and multiple award nominations, will deliver an energetic performance filled with her hit songs.
Snorkråkan’s Wilderness Festival – August 16-18
Children’s TV favorites Tore and Hillevi will host a quirky wilderness festival with activities, workshops and food tastings inspired by their show.
Jamladies & Peter Johansson – August 16
A tribute concert featuring interpretations of legendary artists like Annie Lennox, Queen, Elton John and David Bowie.
Excess – August 15
Dance band Excess will bring energy and joy with their mix of original material, country and updated dance classics.
Fernandoz – August 15
Award-winning dance band Fernandoz promises an unbeatable dance evening with their chart-topping hits.
Allsångsproffsen – August 16
Sweden’s only touring singalong leaders will host a show full of joy, humor and familiar melodies.
Skräckkabinettet – August 18
A spectacular interactive rock show for the whole family about facing fears, featuring songs from their popular children’s TV appearances.
Children’s Activities
The area by the pavilion in the City Park will host various activities for children throughout the festival, including songwriting workshops, dance performances, rhythm festivals, and circus shows.
