Umeå Takes Over Presidency of Swedish Network of Convention Bureaus
In a significant development for Sweden’s meeting industry, Ulrika Hed from Visit Umeå has been elected as the new chairperson of the Swedish Network of Convention Bureaus (SNCVB). The election took place during the association’s annual meeting in Örebro on September 23.
Expressing her enthusiasm about the new role, Ulrika Hed, Project Manager for Large Meetings at Visit Umeå, stated:
“It is both fun and exciting to take on this role for the coming year. I really look forward to continuing to drive the association’s issues and highlight the meeting industry together with colleagues from all over the country. For us in Umeå, where we are a smaller organization, the network is particularly important as it gives us more colleagues to bounce ideas and thoughts off.”
