Visitors and Locals Can Now Rent Bicycles at Hotels in Eskilstuna
In a new initiative launching for the summer of 2024, visitors and residents of Eskilstuna, Sweden now have the opportunity to rent bicycles directly from two local hotels. This eco-friendly transportation option is the result of a collaboration between ReBuyke, a local bike shop, Elite Stadshotellet Eskilstuna, Vilsta Sporthotell, and Destination Eskilstuna.
Affordable and Convenient Bike Rentals
The bicycle rental service is available at a rate of 19 SEK per hour, regardless of whether you’re a hotel guest or not. No advance booking is required, making it easy for anyone to spontaneously explore Eskilstuna on two wheels.
Toni Haddad, owner of ReBuyke at Retuna Återbruksgalleria, explains:
“You can rent a bike either from the hotels we collaborate with or here in the store at Retuna Återbruksgalleria. If you come to Eskilstuna as a tourist, a bike is a great way to get around and experience the city. It’s convenient to be able to rent a bike directly at the hotel where you’re staying. Of course, we also make sure that everyone who rents gets access to a helmet.”
