Rock The Night Festival Returns to Kalmar in Summer 2025
Exciting news for rock music fans in Sweden! The Rock The Night Festival is set to make a grand return to Kalmar on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Following the success of its debut this summer, which attracted around 5,000 visitors, the festival is gearing up for an even bigger and better experience next year.
A Spectacular Venue
The festival will once again take place in Kalmarsundsparken, with the majestic Kalmar Castle serving as a stunning backdrop against the sunset. This unique setting combines natural beauty with historical grandeur, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for music lovers.
An International Line-up
For 2025, the festival is expanding its horizons, featuring both Swedish and international tribute bands. Attendees can look forward to performances celebrating the music of legendary acts such as AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Thin Lizzy, and Fleetwood Mac.
“This year we can proudly present our strongest lineup yet. From Denmark comes Europe’s best Guns N’ Roses tribute, and from the UK, ‘Weetwood Mac’ pays homage to the iconic music of Fleetwood Mac,”
says organizer Viktor Johansson.
Enhanced Festival Experience
The organizers are committed to improving the overall festival experience. Johansson adds,
“We are developing the festival area with a new and broader food concept, more mingling spaces, and a new activation area with exciting competitions and activities.”
