Lisa Ajax to Perform at Larmtorget on October 5th
Exciting news for music fans in Kalmar! A new date has been set for Lisa Ajax’s concert at Larmtorget. The talented singer will close out this year’s “Music at Larmtorget” series on Saturday, October 5th. The same day, Kalmar City is organizing a big autumn festival featuring a market and flea market.
The event will kick off at 4:00 PM with a support act chosen by Talent Coach. At 4:45 PM, Lisa Ajax will take the stage.
About Lisa Ajax
Lisa Ajax’s path to becoming an artist was clear from an early age. She began singing at six years old, and a decade later, she shot to fame by winning the Swedish Idol competition with her unique vocal style. Since then, Lisa has competed in Melodifestivalen five times, most recently reaching the finals this year with her song “Awful Liar”.
Support Act: Tilly Christiansson
Opening for Lisa Ajax will be Tilly Christiansson, a country/americana artist from Färjestaden. Tilly made a name for herself on London’s country music scene as half of the duo Fifth Floor. Now back home, she’s delighting local audiences with her music, including the Öland tribute song “Här på ön” which has received significant airplay on P4 Kalmar.
Autumn Festival in Kalmar City
The concert coincides with a large autumn festival organized by Kalmar City. Visitors can enjoy:
- An autumn market featuring local vendors selling honey, apple cider, and more
- A large flea market at Stortorget
- Horse and carriage rides through the city
- Autumn crafts, games, fishing ponds, face painting, and other activities
About Music at Larmtorget
Music at Larmtorget is organized by Destination Kalmar in collaboration with the artist development program Talentcoach, which selects the support acts. This year, Kalmar residents and visitors are treated to a total of six free concerts between June 1-15 and August 31-October 5.
