Ambassador Lunch Honors Valuable Heroes in Halmstad

For the eighth consecutive year, Halmstad celebrated individuals, organizations, and associations contributing to the city’s development. Their local hospitality plays a crucial role in attracting events and meetings to Halmstad, fostering growth and knowledge in the community.

The annual Ambassador Lunch, held on November 6th at Elite Hotel Mårtenson, recognized these local hosts as important ambassadors for Halmstad. Their efforts create positive effects for the entire society, bringing development, knowledge, and competence to the city while supporting the local visitor industry.

“These local hosts are heroes, both for their passionate causes and for what they do for Halmstad and our industry. Often, the meetings are held outside the high season, which is especially valuable for our visitor industry. But it also brings an influx of competence that benefits the whole community,” says Anita A´son Strandahl (M), chairman of Destination Halmstad.

Karolina Davidsson, CEO of Destination Halmstad, moderated the event and interviewed diploma recipients, including Susanne Ringman from Women’s Shelter Victoria, Ida Thorén Olsson from Young Enterprise, and Ulrika Abrahamsson from the Technology and Property Management Department of Halmstad Municipality. Each contributes to sustainable community development in unique ways.
