Golf Capital Halmstad Tour by Ping 2024 Final Results Announced

The 10th anniversary edition of the popular Golf Capital Halmstad Tour by Ping has concluded after two days of thrilling competition. The final was held on September 20th at Halmstad Golf Arena and September 21st at Halmstad Golf Club.

Following 16 qualifying tournaments across southern Sweden, 72 finalists competed for victory in Halmstad, where the tour originated a decade ago. This year featured two podiums to mark the special anniversary.

Main Tournament Results

Gold: Alexander Barden and Morgan Lundin (qualified from Mölndal GK)
Silver: Christer Abrahamsson and Patrick Abrahamsson (qualified from Mölndal GK)
Bronze: Carl Stagne and Jacob Svantesson (qualified from Bokskogen GK)

10th Anniversary Special Tournament

Previous years’ winners were invited to compete in a special anniversary tournament. The victors were Christian Carlund and Andreas Månsänge, who qualified from Forsgården GK and originally won in 2016.

About the Golf Capital Halmstad Tour by PING

This popular pairs tournament has been held annually since 2014 in partnership with Svensk Golf magazine. Qualifying rounds take place at courses around Sweden each summer, with the top teams advancing to the Halmstad final in late summer.

The 2024 qualifying venues included courses in Borås, Vellinge, Söderåsen, Mölle, Lycke, Åsundsholm, Romeleåsen, Kind, Lerjedalen, Hinton, Bokskogen, Ängelholm, Skövde, Landskrona, Uddevalla and Mölndal.
