At the turn of the year, Visit Dalarna achieved an internationally recognized certification: ESCA Gold. Within the industry code that includes tourism, Visit Dalarna is currently the only organization in the world with a gold certification.

About the Certification
The “Cluster Management Excellence Label GOLD – Proven for Cluster Excellence” is established by the European Commission and awarded by ESCA (European Secretariat for Cluster Assessment). ESCA evaluates and qualifies organizations across industries based on their cluster performance, with certification levels of bronze, silver, and gold.

To receive ESCA Gold, a cluster organization must meet strict criteria in areas such as:

- Internationalization
- Collaboration with other actors
