    New Board Members Announced for Visit Dalarna

    Strategic Changes in Regional Tourism Leadership

    On April 3rd, Visit Dalarna AB selected a new board chair and three new board members, marking a significant transition for the regional tourism organization. The board size has been reduced from eight to seven members to enhance efficiency.

    New Leadership

    Åsa Granat, a local entrepreneur from Borlänge, has been appointed as the new board chair. She brings fresh perspective to the organization’s strategic direction.

    “We are in an exciting phase, and we can now collectively take the next step to further strengthen Dalarna’s position as a leading visitor region, where Visit Dalarna serves as a unifying force,” says Åsa Granat.

    New Board Composition

    The new board members include:

    • Linda Norén, Business Development Manager in Falun
    • Torbjörn Wallin, Board Chair of Idre Himmelfjäll AB
    • Per Kempe, CEO of Bjursås Berg & Sjö

    Visit Dalarna is responsible for developing, marketing, and selling the Dalarna region nationally and internationally. The destination company represents the region’s tourism industry and drives development in collaboration with businesses and organizations.
