Star-Studded Program for Summer Festival in Lidköping
From August 15-18, the Summer Festival in Lidköping will offer a packed program in the City Garden! During these days, the City Garden will transform into a vibrant festival venue filled with fun children’s activities, fantastic musical performances, engaging sing-alongs, swinging dance bands and much more. With something for all ages and interests, it will be a wonderful public festival where everyone is welcome to celebrate summer together with their loved ones.
“We are very pleased to present a program with well-known names that we believe will appeal to a broad audience. It will be a fantastic finale for the many summer events!” says Jennifer Lerman, cultural coordinator for Lidköping municipality.
Headlining Acts
Jonathan Johansson – August 17
Jonathan Johansson broke through in 2009 with his album “En hand i himlen”. He has since released six more albums, each expanding his artistic dimensions. After experimenting with other artists’ songs in “Så mycket bättre”, Jonathan Johansson is going on a summer tour with a long-awaited stop in Lidköping.
Myra Granberg – August 17
Rising star Myra Granberg has captured audiences’ hearts in recent years. With over 135 million streams, multiple award nominations, and a celebrated debut album, Myra has become a clear favorite at every house party in the country.

Snorkråkan’s Wilderness Festival – August 16-18
The TV success and all children’s favorites will be in the City Garden offering a quirky wilderness festival. Experience Tore and Hillevi’s antics live, explore the knot workshop, and taste unusual dishes known from the series.
Skräckkabinettet – A Monster Rock Show – August 18
Welcome to a spectacular and interactive rock show for the whole family about daring to challenge your fears. With clever lyrics and cool rock music for both young and old ears, Skräckkabinettet makes us ponder fears and how to overcome them.

The area by the pavilion in the City Garden will be a place for children during the Summer Festival’s joyful days. There will be songwriting workshops, dance performances, rhythm festivals, circus acts, and much more.
