Taste of Skövde – Restaurant Week Returns
From October 21-24, food lovers in Skövde will once again have the opportunity to explore new flavors and culinary experiences during the “Taste of Skövde” Restaurant Week. Nine of Skövde’s finest restaurants will be offering special menus and deals, allowing visitors to indulge in everything from casual street food to luxurious multi-course dinners.
The event aims to encourage locals to visit their favorite eateries and discover new dining spots, bringing some extra excitement to the city center during the dark October days.
“We are incredibly grateful for the previous restaurant week that was held just as we had opened. The initiative from City Collaboration brings extra life to the center and creates a fantastic opportunity for local restaurateurs to showcase the season’s best flavors,” says Robin Yakob from Husaren in Skövde, one of the participating restaurants.
Emma Edqvist, destination developer for Skövde City Collaboration/Next Skövde, highlights the diversity of Skövde’s culinary scene:
“The strength of the city center is, among other things, the range of restaurants, and in Skövde you can eat everything from sushi and Indian to traditional Swedish cuisine, pizza, and fine dining. During restaurant week, you have the opportunity to find new favorites at your regular spot or discover a new gem. It’s an excellent occasion to simply have a dinner in town.”
