Summer Festival Returns to Lidköping in 2024!
Get ready for the most exciting event of the summer! The Summer Festival is making a comeback to brighten up Lidköping with joy and festivities from August 15-18 in Stadsträdgården. Four days packed with fun activities and outstanding entertainment await visitors in one beautifully decorated location, promising an unforgettable experience!
During the day, the program caters to younger audiences with entertainment and activities, offering a perfect end to the summer break. Have you heard of Snorkråkan? Then this is an event you won’t want to miss! As evening falls, it’s time to put on your dancing shoes and prepare for an unforgettable night with some of the country’s hottest artists. From energetic dance bands to catchy sing-alongs and hilarious stand-up comedy, our program offers something for all tastes and ages.
This exciting initiative is made possible through a well-established collaboration between Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle and the cultural unit of Lidköping Municipality, using shared resources. This year, the Summer Festival will be part of the cultural unit’s annual summer conclusion of the “Summer in the Garden” program series.
“We are very excited to present a truly maxed-out conclusion to the summer with experiences for all ages,” says Jennifer Lerman, Cultural Coordinator for Lidköping Municipality.
