Kevin Lindskoug to Lecture During Pride Week in Skellefteå
A tradition since 2014 in Skellefteå municipality is hosting a lunch seminar during RFSL’s Pride Week. On Monday, February 10th, Kevin Lindskoug will take the stage at Scene 1 in Sara Cultural Center.

During the autumn, former elite ice hockey goalkeeper Kevin Lindskoug came out publicly identifying as trans. Since then, he has been nominated for QX Gala’s main prize, “LGBTQ Person of the Year”, with a powerful nomination highlighting his mission to transform hockey’s macho culture.

About Kevin Lindskoug
Born on August 10th, 1992, in Trelleborg, Kevin is a former elite ice hockey goalkeeper who played in SHL, Hockeyallsvenskan, and international leagues. In September 2024, he came out as trans following a four-year suspension from hockey due to a doping scandal involving cocaine.
Lindskoug will discuss his personal journey, the reactions he’s received, mental health, and the existing norms in sports.
