IT Industry Meets Students from Skellefteå and Luleå at Campus Skellefteå
On April 17, 2024, Campus Skellefteå will host an exciting event where the IT industry meets students from Skellefteå and Luleå University of Technology. This unique opportunity will bring together students studying IT, game development, various engineering programs, and International Business with leading companies in the tech sector.
Event Highlights
The event is structured in three parts, offering students a comprehensive insight into the industry, its competency needs, and opportunities within the innovative world of IT and technology. Simultaneously, businesses will gain valuable perspectives on students’ specializations and competencies, facilitating potential collaborations and recruitments.
1. Exhibition and Networking
- Time: 11:30-12:45
- Location: Campus Skellefteå, Forumhuset (Building M)
- Led by Skellefteå Digital Alliance in collaboration with SKARV
- Participating companies include Atea, Boliden, DataPolarna, Digitala kontoret, Ductus, Gold Town Games, Silent Factory, Skellefteå Kraft, Sogeti, Tietoevry, twoday, and Windswept Interactive
2. Company Visits
- Time: 13:00-16:00
- Students will visit companies seeking IT and engineering expertise
- Participating companies include AFRY, Atea, Autotech Teknikinformation, Datapolarna, Digitala kontoret, Gold Town Games, Northvolt, Silent Factory, twoday, Tietoevry, and Windswept Interactive
3. Dinner and Networking
- Location: Cinco
- Student dinners funded by Region Västerbotten
