A Truly Spooky Week Awaits in Lund
Get ready for a spine-chilling autumn break in Lund, Sweden! From October 28 to November 3, the city will transform into a hub of ghostly activities, zombies, and all things eerie during the “Spooky Week” festivities.
Run For Your Lives: The Ultimate Zombie Experience
Kicking off the frightful fun on October 26 is the return of the terrifying “Run For Your Lives” event. This ultimate zombie run will turn Lund’s city center into a post-apocalyptic nightmare, complete with hundreds of actors, props, military vehicles, police cars, and ambulances. As Åsa Jensen, project manager at Visit Lund, explains: We are fully loading up to prepare all the horrors. I just saw the sketch for the Ghost Tunnel and it looks super cool.
Family-Friendly Frights at Botulfsplatsen
On November 1 (1-6 PM) and November 2 (11 AM-6 PM), Botulfsplatsen will host a range of spooky yet fun activities for the whole family. Attractions include:
- Ghost Tunnel in Stadshallen
- Creepy crafts
- The Botulf Ghost
- Triathlon
- Pumpkin contest
- Face painting
- Ghost stories
Cultural Thrills at Kulturen
Kulturen in Lund will be open from 10 AM to 4 PM throughout the autumn break (October 26 to November 3), with extended evening hours on Thursday. Visitors can enjoy spooky walks, ghostly crafts, and eerie mysteries.
Lund Fantastic Film Festival
Running alongside the Spooky Week from October 25-31, the Lund Fantastic Film Festival offers a chance to experience a world of fantasy, science fiction, and horror cinema.
