Jönköping to Host Melodifestivalen 2025 Tour Stop
Exciting news for music lovers and Eurovision fans in Sweden! Jönköping has been officially announced as one of the host cities for the Melodifestivalen 2025 tour. This prestigious event, known as Sweden’s largest public festival, will bring a spectacular show and unforgettable music experience to both millions of TV viewers and lucky attendees.
Jönköping’s Role in Melodifestivalen 2025
Destination Jönköping will be organizing the fifth and final heat of the Melodifestivalen tour. The event is scheduled to take place at Husqvarna Garden in Jönköping from February 28 to March 1, 2025. This marks a significant return for Jönköping to the Melodifestivalen stage after an 18-year hiatus.
“It feels very exciting to be one of the host cities for Melodifestivalen 2025. It’s been 18 years since we were involved in the event and we see that there is great interest across the country. When we contacted Live Nation, we felt that 2025 was the right year to invest in Melodifestivalen again. We want to be part of this public festival and give both Jönköping residents and visitors the chance to experience Melodifestivalen live here in Jönköping. Together with Jkpg City and HV71, we will be able to create a Mello fest throughout Jönköping,” says Caroline Törnblad, head of meetings and events at Destination Jönköping.
Melodifestivalen 2025 Tour Schedule
The 2025 Melodifestivalen tour will cover various cities across Sweden:
- Luleå: January 31 – February 1
- Göteborg: February 7-8
- Västerås: February 14-15
- Malmö: February 21-22
- Jönköping: February 28 – March 1
- Stockholm (Final): March 7-8
Each city will host rehearsals and live shows, with Jönköping being the last stop before the grand finale in Stockholm.
