Vineyard and Music Hub Among the Winners of Visit Skåne’s Annual Grand Prize
Visit Skåne, the regional destination company, has announced the winners of its prestigious visitor and event awards during the industry gathering “Hylla Skåne”. The event celebrated outstanding achievements in tourism and experiences across the region.
Award Winners Spotlight
Event Skåne of the Year: Per-Anders Hjort
Per-Anders Hjort from Torna Hällestad Lanthandel won the Event Skåne of the Year award. The jury praised him for creating a “music mecca that attracts audiences from around the world” with his intimate 150-seat venue hosting international artists like Tingsek and Emil Jensen.
Experience of the Year: Kullabergs Vingård
Kullabergs Vingård took the top spot in the Experience category. The vineyard was recognized for its sustainable wine production and was noted for winning first prize in the international Swedish Wine Tasting competition in 2024.
Volunteer of the Year: Gunni von Blixen Finecke
Gunni von Blixen Finecke was honored as Volunteer of the Year for her passionate work as a guide at Svaneholms Castle. The jury highlighted her ability to make history come alive, especially for younger visitors.
Special Honor: Together of the Year
The “Together of the Year” award went to Sustainable Place Development Kåseberga, recognized for creating collaborative community development around the historic Ales Stones site.
Industry Impact
Max Granström, CEO of Visit Skåne, emphasized the importance of events and experiences, stating they contribute not just to economic benefits but also to regional attractiveness and community pride.
Each winner in the Event Skåne, Experience, and Volunteer categories received a prize of 10,000 SEK.
