Finalists Announced for Skåne’s New Tourism and Event Awards

Visit Skåne has unveiled the finalists for the inaugural “Celebrate Skåne” awards, a new initiative honoring outstanding contributions to Skåne’s tourism and events industry. The public can now vote for winners in three categories: Event Person of the Year, Experience of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year.

Award Categories and Finalists

Event Person of the Year nominees:

• Lotta Gall – Åhus Beach
• Camilla Stark – Gudahagens Vikingamarknad
• Glenn Pålsson – Dryckeshantverket
• André Petersson – Eskilscupen

Experience of the Year nominees:

• Nyrups Naturhotell
• Skånes Djurpark
• Disgusting Food Museum
• Botildenborg

Volunteer of the Year nominees:

• Dalle Berglund – Scouts’ Jamboree, Norra Åsum, Kristianstad
• Lars-Erik Fredriksson – Torsjö Live, Tyringe
• Malin Buhre – Handball World Cup and Lundaspelen, Kävlinge HK
• Johnny “Puma” Nilsson – Handball World Cup, Malmö

Additionally, a special “Together of the Year” award will be chosen by a jury of industry experts, academics, and tourism promotion organizations.

Award Ceremony

The winners will be announced at a ceremony held at Amiralen in Malmö on March 13th.
