Borås Welcomes International Conference on Biotechnology’s Role in Sustainable Textile Industry
From November 12-14, researchers from 14 countries will gather in Borås for the International Conference on Fiber and Polymer Biotechnology (IFPB).

“It is significant for the University of Borås to host a conference of this specialized nature. We get the opportunity to showcase our expertise in textile biotechnology to international actors on home ground and enable new collaborations,” says Sina Seipel, University Lecturer at the University of Borås.

Biotechnology in the textile sector is a crucial part of sustainability efforts. The conference program will heavily emphasize the importance of biotechnology in enabling and improving textile material recycling.
