Taste of Skövde – Restaurant Week Returns
From October 21-24, Skövde residents and visitors will have the opportunity to explore new flavors and culinary experiences at nine of Skövde’s restaurants during the “Taste of Skövde” Restaurant Week. Participating establishments will offer special deals, new dishes, and a touch of everyday luxury.
The event aims to encourage locals to visit their favorite eateries with exclusive offers while also enticing them to discover new restaurants, adding a bit of indulgence to the middle of dark October.
“We are incredibly grateful for the previous restaurant week that was held just as we had opened. The initiative from City Collaboration brings extra life to the center and creates a fantastic opportunity for local restaurateurs to showcase the season’s best flavors,” says Robin Yakob from Husaren in Skövde, one of the participating restaurants.
During the week, visitors can sample everything from simple street food dishes to more luxurious multi-course dinners, catering to all tastes and preferences.
“The strength of the city center is, among other things, the variety of restaurants, and in Skövde you can eat everything from sushi and Indian to traditional Swedish fare, pizza, and fine dining. During restaurant week, you have the opportunity to find new favorites at your regular spot or discover a new gem. It’s an excellent occasion to simply have a dinner in town,” says Emma Edqvist, destination developer for Skövde City Collaboration/Next Skövde.
