An Eventful Autumn Break in Lidköping as Ghosts & Sea Bandits Take Over the City!
Lidköping invites visitors to an action-packed autumn break as “Ghosts & Sea Bandits” take over the city from October 25th to November 3rd. The week will be filled with numerous activities, and the city will be decorated in a spooky manner. New this year is a focus on Lidköping’s unique proximity to Lake Vänern, highlighted by two exciting events at the Vänern galeas Mina in the Eastern Harbor, just below the railway bridge.
On Monday, October 28th, and Tuesday, October 29th, there will be a high-energy fire show featuring well-known Swedish classics in a pirate potpourri of entertainment. Tuesday will also offer ghost stories by the ship, with the depths of Vänern and the autumn darkness providing a fitting backdrop for spine-chilling tales, for those who dare to listen…
“The Vänern galeas Mina and its location in Lidan give us the opportunity to create a unique stage with the proximity to the water and the fantastic ship as a backdrop. We will transform the harbor with stands and decorations and look forward to welcoming the audience,”
says Carolina Hellström, Destination Developer at Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle AB.
In addition to these unique performances, numerous activities are organized throughout the autumn break for all children on holiday and their families. There’s something for everyone – from bingo treasure hunts and sea bandit walks to creepy ghost walks and creative workshops. In conjunction with the traditional Art Evening, there’s also a Children’s Art Evening, perfect for kids to explore their creative side.
A spooky welcome to Lidköping to take part in autumn break activities that the whole family will remember with both joy and goosebumps!
