Staffan Hellstrand to Perform at Larmtorget on September 14th
This Saturday, September 14th, marks the next installment of Music at Larmtorget in Kalmar, Sweden. The renowned Swedish artist Staffan Hellstrand will take the stage for a free concert.
A Career Spanning Decades
Staffan Hellstrand’s long and illustrious career has earned him numerous accolades, including Grammis awards and Rockbjörnen prizes. He’s known for timeless Swedish hits like “Lilla fågel blå” and “Fiskarna i havet,” which he wrote for Idde Schultz.
Last year, Hellstrand participated in the popular TV show “Så mycket bättre.” Following this appearance, he embarked on a sold-out tour and released the single “Jag vill stanna här,” a preview of his upcoming studio album.
Local Support Act
The Kalmar-based rock band Esplanaden will open the show. They’re known for their nostalgic lyrics about love and disappointment, mixed with heavy riffs and rhythms.

About Music at Larmtorget
Music at Larmtorget is organized by Destination Kalmar in collaboration with the artist development program Talentcoach, which selects the support acts. This year, Kalmar residents and visitors are treated to a total of six free concerts during the periods of June 1-15 and August 31-October 15.
