Lisa Ajax to Conclude This Year’s Music at Larmtorget
On Saturday, October 5th, the final concert of this year’s Music at Larmtorget series will take place in Kalmar, featuring Lisa Ajax as the headline act. The event will begin at 4:00 PM with a supporting performance by Tilly Christiansson, selected by the Talent Coach program.
Lisa Ajax: A Rising Star
Lisa Ajax’s musical journey began at the tender age of six. A decade later, she shot to fame by winning the Swedish Idol competition with her unique voice. Since then, Ajax has participated in Melodifestivalen five times, most recently reaching the finals with her song “Awful Liar”.
Supporting Act: Tilly Christiansson
Tilly Christiansson, a country/americana artist from Färjestaden, will open the show. After making a name for herself in London’s country music scene as part of the duo Fifth Floor, Christiansson has returned to her roots, delighting local audiences with songs like “Här på ön” (Here on the Island), which has received frequent airplay on P4 Kalmar.
Autumn Festival in Kalmar City
Coinciding with the concert, Kalmar City is organizing a grand autumn festival. The event will feature:
- An autumn market with local vendors selling honey, apple cider, and more
- A large flea market at Stortorget
- Horse and carriage rides through the city
- Autumn-themed crafts, games, fish ponds, and face painting
About Music at Larmtorget
Music at Larmtorget is organized by Destination Kalmar in collaboration with the Talentcoach artist development program. This year, residents and visitors have enjoyed six free concerts between June 1-15 and August 31-October 5.
