Equestrian Success Returns to Jönköping
Jönköping Horse Show is set to transform the autumn break into a horse-lover’s paradise once again, as the event takes place at Elmia from October 29 to November 3. This equestrian extravaganza has quickly established itself as the go-to meeting place for horse enthusiasts, breaking attendance records year after year.
In 2023, Jönköping Horse Show attracted an impressive 22,958 visitors, surpassing previous years’ attendance figures. The event drew spectators from 91 Swedish municipalities and even welcomed international visitors from Denmark, Norway, and Germany.

This year’s Jönköping Horse Show program offers top-class jumping for ponies and elite riders, young horse and pony dressage, an expanded Icelandic horse program, hobby horse jumping, a family show, and a trade fair featuring over 100 exhibitors.

The event is known for attracting the biggest names in Swedish equestrian sports. This year’s lineup includes both future talents and world stars, as well as championship medalists. Malin Baryard Johnsson, Rolf Göran Bengtsson, and Peder Fredricson, who were part of the Swedish Olympic team in both Tokyo and Paris, are among the stars coming to Jönköping Horse Show during the autumn break.
