Skövde has added another hiking trail to its network. The new “Killingarundan” trail circles Heidelberg Materials’ active quarry, passing through older mining areas and along the old railway embankment via Våmb. The main trail is 5 km long, with a shorter 2 km route in Fårhagen featuring informational signs.
Public Skating at Arena Billingen

New Public Transport Schedule
Starting summer 2025, bus lines 8 and 9 from the Travel Center to Billingen will begin operating at 6:00 AM. Evening service will continue until 9:00 PM. In June, all city buses in Skövde will switch to electric operation, prompting discussions about allowing bicycles on buses.
