World Premiere of New TV Series Showcasing Beverages in Västerbotten
On June 1st, wine expert Joe Fattorini and award-winning sommelier Maya Samuelsson will embark on a drinks journey through Sweden in Pluto TV’s new series, “Drinking with Joe & Maya”. Over six episodes, viewers will discover Sweden’s local beverage offerings. In Västerbotten, the duo visits Brännlands Iscider, New Nordic Beverages, Facit bar, ÓGIN, and Kurjoviken.
Joe Fattorini is a wine expert and TV personality known from “The Wine Show”. Maya Samuelsson is a sommelier who has won the Lily Bollinger Award, Newcomer of the Year at the Restaurant Gala, and placed top three in the Sommelier Championships three years in a row.
The Västerbotten episode was filmed earlier this year and was made possible through a collaboration between beverage producers and the tourism project Västerbotten Sweden.
“In Västerbotten Sweden, we work with various types of marketing activities to increase awareness about Västerbotten. Here we see that our taste experiences are a strong and important entry point to Västerbotten’s history, nature, culture, and the people who live and work here,”
says Cecilia Wallinder, project manager at Västerbotten Sweden.
